Holy Scriptures are the foundations of the respective religions. Their validity as Holy Scriptures depend on their authenticity
Prophets were special people chosen by God. They were the only people who knew what
messages they had received from God, either directly or through angel Gabriel. Future generations could receive those messages, if they were recorded by
the Prophets at the time of revelation and then transmitted unaltered.
Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world. The Holy Bible is the Holy
Scripture of the Christians. It was written by many authors, some of whom are known and others are
unknown. Holy Quran is the Holy Scripture of the Muslims. It was revealed to Mohammad (P+) by
God and he dictated it to the scribes. Let us now compare these two Holy Scriptures.
The Bible was not recorded by the Prophets at the time of revelation. They were
recorded by other people many years after the Prophets had left this world (Ref. 4- p4-7). After
many years, it is not possible for any one to remember, word for word (as recorded in the
Bible), what the Prophets had said earlier
Although unlettered, Mohammad (P*) dictated all the revelations he received from God, to the scribes, at the time of revelation.
All knowledgeable Bible experts agree that the true identities of the authors of the gospels are not known (Ref. 4 p 60-69).
The author of the Quran is God, revealed to Mohammad (P“), through angel Gabriel.
The Bible was repeatedly altered. (Compare King James Bible of 1952 with other
Bibles. For details, read our publication - 'The Holy Bible'). The oldest manuscripts are from
fourth century.
No one has altered the Quran. All the recorded revelations were meticulously
collected within two years of Mohammad's (P*) death. Copies of the oldest Quran still exist in
Tashkent (Russia), and Istanbul (Turkey). Today's Quran, word for word, is an exact copy of
the original (Ref. 4-p130-131).
The Bible admits that man has changed the Bible into a lie: "How can you say,
'We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us'? But behold , the false pen of the scribes has
made it into a lie." (Jeremiah 8:8).
The Quran is the truth from God. In the Quran God says: "We have sent them (the people) the Truth" (Qrn. 23:90).
The Bible contains numerous defects and contradictions. In the first page of the
preface of King James Bible, it reads: "Yet King James Version has grave defects. ... that these
defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation."
The Holy Quran says: "Do they not consider the Quran (with care)? Had it been
from other than God, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy" (Qrn. 4:82).
There is no error or discrepancies in the Quran (Ref. 4 - p120).
In the Bible God is presented as ignorant. God said to Abraham: "I will go down to
see whether they (people of Sodom and Gomorrah) have done altogether according to
the outcry which has come to me: and if not, I will know" (Genesis 18:21). God said: "Israel is
my first-born son" (Exodus 4:22). He also said: "Ephraim is my first-born" (Jeremiah 31:9).
The Holy Quran says: "He knows what is in the havens and on earth; and He
knows what you conceal and what you reveal: yes, God knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts." (Qrn. 64:4).
In the Holy Bible God regrets: "And the Lord was sorry that he made man on
the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, I am sorry that I have made them" (Genesis 6:6-7).
In the Quran God does not regret.
In the Bible, God is presented with limited ability. God wrestled with Jacob at night in
a tent but He could not prevail against Jacob and God cried out: "Let me go, for the day is
breaking" (Genesis 32:24-26, 28). God also got tired after six days of work and needed rest on
the seventh day (Exodus 31:17)
There is no limitation of God in Quran: "Glory be to Him. When He determines a
matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is" (Qrn.19:35).
In the Bible, God ordered to kill all innocent animals, little children; women, and old
people of defeated cities (Deuteronomy 7:2, 13:15, 20:16 & Ezekiel 9:5-6); and made parents
to eat the flesh of their sons and daughters (Jeremiah 19:4,9 & Leviticus 26:29).
In Quran God never ordered the death of innocent animals, children, and old
people after their defeat, and never forced parents to eat the flesh of their children.
In the Bible, God chose wrong Prophets. Some Prophets committed adultery,
some incest, some got drunk and some worshipped false gods. Solomon (P*) worshipped
false Gods (1 Kings 11:9-10); David (P*) sent for Uriah's wife, Bathsheba, and committed adultery
with her (2 Samuel 11 : 3-5); Judah, the father of Jewish race, committed incest with his daughter-
in-law, Tamar (Genesis 38 : 15 - 18). The two daughters of Prophet Lot (P*), committed incest
with their father (Genesis 19:32 - 36).
In the Holy Quran all Prophets were sinless righteous people. They did
not commit incest or adultery nor did they worship false gods or got drunk. They were pious and
righteous people of highest morality
The following verses will testify to the divinity of the Quranic revelations.
1
"If the whole of mankind ... were to get together to produce the like of this Quran, they
could not produce the like there of (Qrn. 17:88).No Holy Scripture like the Quran has ever been
produced.
2
"And if you are in doubt ... then produce a sura (chapter) like thereunto; ... But if you
cannot - and of a surety you cannot - then fear the fire ... which is prepared for those who reject
Faith." (Qrn. 2:23-24). No sura has ever been matched.
3
"Do they not consider the Quran (with care)? Had it been from other than God, they
would surely have found therein much discrepancy" (Qrn. 4:82). There are no errors or
discrepancies in the Quran·
4
"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and we will assuredly guard it (from
corruption)" (Qrn. 15:9). No one has altered the Quran.
5
After Anton Von Leeuwenhoek invented microscope in 1677 AD, he found out that semen
contained sperms. Long ago, in the 7th century the Quran revealed: "Then We placed him as (a
drop of] sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed" (Qrn. - 23:13).
Dr. Maurice Bucaille, a Christian French physician and a religious scholar, wrote
"Whereas monumental errors are to be found in the Bible, I could not find a single error in
the Quran " (Ref. 4-p120).
One day we all will die and return to God. On the day of judgment God will not ask you about
my faith or ask me about your faith. He will ask everyone about their own faith. When we return
to God, if He asks the person who followed the wrong scripture. "Why did you follow the scripture
that was not recorded by the Prophets? It contained innumerable errors and contradictions
and was repeatedly altered. I also warned that the scribes had made it into a lie." If God further
says "why did you not follow the scripture, which I said to be My revelation? It was accurately
dictated by the Prophet, and was transmitted without alteration (as promised by me). It
contained no errors or contradictions. No one could produce a book or even a chapter similar to
this revealed book when I challenged them to do so. In that scripture, I revealed scientific
mysteries thousands of years ahead, through an unlettered Prophet, to prove that it was from Me.
Did I not give you the ability to think, to reason and judge, and then to choose?" what would that
person say at that time? Should we not all prepare ourselves to answer these questions?
NOW THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
